The last time I picked up a book and read it front to back in one sitting was "The GodFather". This book is just as exciting. Where he came up with this concept I have no idea. Trust me. Once you read it you will be screaming for another book from Mike Stevens. Just enough sex to keep you interested. It's great and I urge all of you to read it.
It is an enthralling and thrilling novel. I have read the story five times now, and each time it seems gripping. It is like looking at a tornado that's two miles away and you cannot take your eyes off of it. It is like climbing a fourteener and you cannot stop until you get to the top! It is like . . . well, buy the book, read it, write your review and tell me what you think this is like. Michael Scott Stevens certainly is an innovative writer and I sure hope to read his next novel.

I had never heard of this author until a friend suggested I read his debut novel. I don't know where this dude has been hiding but LOOK OUT! Stevens can write. Once I got to page twenty, I gave up trying to put the book down. I read it straight through. Great story line, original, rock-solid characters. No cookie cutter novel here. I would put this book in the mystery/thriller genre. If you like Harlen Coben and/or Lee Child, then this book is right up your alley. Classic battle between good and evil and plot twists that keep you alert, hoping you can catch the next one. Don't even bother trying. Halfway to Eternity blew me away! Make no mistake about it, we will see much more from this incredible new talent. I'll be the first in line to buy his next novel.
Not the usual genre I read but I must say it was a page turner from start to finish. The characters came to life (no pun intended) and made you care about them. I would highly reommend this book. Also glad to see the prise drop to a more realistic number. Wish it had been on kindle when I bought it. Can't wait for another book from this author.
This book is on par with a John Grisham or a William Johnstone novel. The book has great believability and the author has handled the characters extremely well, especially the ghost that is one of the good guys. The ending is great and leaves room for a sequel – which I hope comes soon. I highly recommend this one.
Well done! I just finished reading Halfway to Eternity and found it compelling and fresh...can't wait for the sequel (so hurry up, would ya.) Love the plot unpredictability that had me wondering where it would go. Loved the characters - no formula here. Loved the style as well. Thoroughly enjoyed this crime thriller...get it and READ IT!
